Aside from daily-made bread loaves, seasonal pastries and croissants that blissfully greet you at the door, when you walk into Lady Baker in Pembroke Pines you’ll also see these large words lit up on the wall: “You can’t buy happiness but you can buy bread and that’s the same thing.”

Did Papa John's Go Too Far?

I know what you're thinking right now... how dare I even ask such a question! But it needs to be done. With the release of Papa John's Triple Bacon Pizza (featuring bacon crumbles, julienne-cut Canadian bacon and smoked bacon strips) I'm left wondering if Papa John's went too far and added too MUCH Bacon on this Pizza. I'm getting to the bottom of this difficult question in today's review!

 

Amar Mediterranean Bistro: Taste of Middle East in Delray Beach

This past January, Nicolas Kurban, who is originally from Lebanon, decided to corporate the Middle Eastern flavors of his native country, and opened Amar Mediterranean Bistro. The restaurant, that Nicolas owns with his wife, Susanna, is located in the heart of Downtown Delray Beach. Amar is the first restaurant Nicolas has owned, following a long background in the hospitality business, having worked in his father’s restaurant near Beirut for years, and for world-famous chefs like Wolfgang 

Puck.
