Big Brother Star Memphis Garrett Opens No Man’s Land in Fort Lauderdale

With seating for 40, No Man's Land emits an undeniably sultry vibe. Photo by Shelby Cooper Wedged in an unassuming shopping complex with a Winn-Dixie anchor, Fort Lauderdale’s newest cocktail hotspot is appropriately named: No Man’s Land. The 40-seat lounge and restaurant opened on November 3, courtesy of reality star and Fort Lauderdale resident Memphis Garrett. Prior to No Man’s Land, Garrett, who starred on seasons 10 and 22 of Big Brother, operated the popular Poke House and Blue Wave Sushi in the same 666 N. Federal Hwy. space, under the Garrett Hospitality Group umbrella.

Sam’s Club Is Selling A Giant Cheesecake With A Mountain Of Brownies On Top

When it comes to cheesecake toppings, choices vary from cherries to chocolate sauce and even wintery peppermint. This holiday season, however, Sam’s Club is stepping it up several notches and combining two desserts for a cheesecake unlike anything you’ve seen before. The new Member’s Mark brownie-topped cheesecake is, to put it simply, cheesecake topped with brownies! The show-stopping 5-pound, 6-ounce cheesecake is stacked with 4 inches of chocolatey brownies, pecans and chocolate and caramel drizzle. It serves 12-16 and costs just $16.98, so you’re looking at around $1-$1.40 per slice, which makes this perfect for a party or potluck, or just keeping on hand in the fridge during the holidays.

“So you’re a mom and a doctor and a restaurateur, how do you that?” asked Petrillo. “I think it’s prayers. I pray. I think I can do it and then it starts and then I can stop and then it becomes fun and exciting,” said Dr. Gray. The couple, who were both born in Jamaica, wanted to create that island feel in Wynwood. Even the art made by Chef Cameron is part of the overall Caribbean vibe. “We wanted a jerk vibe, we wanted to bring jerk to South Florida and we want it in a restaurant setting. So he wanted to merge both the outside patio which was very important to us. We also wanted to merge the art. We wanted to bring the art that Wynwood is bringing to South Florida and be a part of it,” she explained.
