THE BITE EATERY: POMPANO’S FIRST FOOD HALL OPENS


Located at 2715 E. Atlantic Boulevard in The Harbor Village Shops, the food hall features nine culinary concepts and one full-service bar, all under one roof. Participating restaurants include Deli Shack, Taco Vibez, Papa’s Pizzeria, Lobstar, Mama Mia, Beef Boyz, Ceviche Time, Abuelita’s Cuban Bistro and Moop Gelato. The Bite Bar, centrally located in the food hall, will serve drinks to all the establishments. “It has been a long time coming,” said Jessica Gollel of Gollel Family Properties, the owner and developer of The Bite Eatery. “We are very excited to open.”

Holland America continues to attract many older, usually retired passengers who have little interest in water parks, belly flop contests or loud music around the pool. They still like gambling, however, judging by the large casino, usually crowded and smoky. Among all the popular cruise lines, however, Holland America takes its commitment to creative cuisine to a very high level.

New El Camino on the way: 4th location promises to be largest one yet

El Camino restaurants continue to spread their signature “Mexican soul food” throughout South Florida. This coming spring, the boutique chain plans to open a fourth location in the soon-to-come Restaurant Row in Boca Raton. This latest expansion promises the largest El Camino yet, with 7,000 square feet inside and 3,000 square feet outdoors, doubling the al fresco dining space of the fairly new West Palm Beach location, which — until the Boca Raton venue opens — is the biggest El Camino.
