Weekend things to do: Rooftop sunset dancing on Fort Lauderdale beach, doughnut beer in Boynton Beach, a garden of rosé

Here we are knee-deep in May, having gotten rid of the Spring Breakers and other random ne’er-do-wells, and we can finally be ourselves. So La Playa Dayclub will finally show locals what it’s about this weekend — an entirely different energy on Fort Lauderdale beach. A new rooftop spot to chill, tucked away on the second floor of the oceanfront restaurant Bo’s Beach, La Playa is bringing world-ranked DJ talent to the southern end of the beach this weekend, with performances by UK-spawned duo Audiojack on Friday and fellow Brit Steve Lawler on Saturday.
