NEW / Brightline high-tech trains for Orlando service roll off production line in California

Entering uncharted territory by building American higher-speed rail service, Brightline aims to change people's behavior by offering an attractive alternative to driving on crowded highways, CEO Michael Reininger said. To that end, the privately held company is marking the rollout of its first stainless-steel, diesel-electric trains that will carry passengers and offer food service between Orlando International Airport and South Florida. “They’re sleek on the outside. They're super spacious and comfortable on the inside," Brightline Chief Mechanical Officer Tom Rutkowski said.
